Cherry Blossoms Walking Tour
It’s that time of year once more, when DC’s famous cherry trees spring into full bloom, creating an ocean of pink and white. Symbolic for peace and the transience of life, as well as the color and grace of the Japanese people and culture, the cherry trees of Washington have been inspiring her visitors for approximately 100 years.
Join us for a special series of tours that will combine our highly rated Monuments tour with all the beauty of the cherry blossom festival along the Tidal Basin. These tours will feature all our regular stops on the monuments tour and will conclude with a walk thru the outdoor F.D.R. memorial on the Tidal Basin and spectacular views of the cherry blossom trees.
