Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: Reservations for groups of 6 or less are not required, but appreciated.  Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and allows us to notify you of changes due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.   Groups of 10 or more must
contact us before making a reservation.

  3. Provide an email for confirmation. If you can't be reached by email on the day of the tour, please provide a mobile number.

Q: Do the tours ever get cancelled for weather?
A: The show must go on! Dress appropriately for the conditions. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.  However, extreme weather (blizzards, prolonged heavy rain, etc) may cancel or postpone the tour.  Please contact us or check the website for updates.

Q: What is an appropriate tip or gratuity?
A: Another good question. Since our tours are free, we work for tips only. You get to decide how much to tip based on how much you enjoyed the tour. With that said, we average about $10 tip per person on our 2 hour tours. However, we like to think of our tours as "name your own price". You let us know what you think. Don't like the tour? Don't waste your money! Love it? Then we appreciate whatever you feel is fair. How can you beat that?

Q: Where can we park near the tour?
A: Parking near the monuments is limited. The best websites that that we have found for information on parking are listed below:
