Pennsylvania Avenue Walking Tour

Follow in the footsteps of presidents as they walk from being inaugurated at the Capitol down Pennsylvania Avenue towards their new residence. See the sites they view on their first walk downtown as our new President! The historic Main Street of Washington, DC looks nothing like it did in the 1800s. We'll discover the evolution from main street to the modern federal buildings, memorials, and statues!

Reservations:  Reservations are required.  Please click Penn Ave Tour for reservation instructions. Groups of 6 or more must contact us first. If you do not, we may cancel your reservation and you will not be allowed on the tour.

Where: Tour meets the U.S. Grant Memorial Statue. Right under the equestrian statue.(map). Look for your guide in orange with the DC by Foot logo!

Duration: Approx. 2 hours and 1 mile
