Free Tour of Tidal Basin

DC By Foot is pleased to present our newest Free, tip-based walking tour, our Tide of Liberty Rising Tour  This tour will take you around the Tidal Basin in the cool shade of the city's legendary cherry trees and through some of DC's most beautiful, majestic and picturesque memorials.

Join DC by Foot as we visit the memorials that honor four great men of ideas. Thomas Jefferson, whose pen affirmed mankind’s inalienable rights. George Mason, who’s Virginia Declaration of Rights served as the model for the US Bill of Rights and declarations of human rights throughout the world. FDR who led America’s greatest generation for 12 years in the fight against tyranny and poverty. Martin Luther King, Jr, who reminded America and the world of our promise of equality and social justice.

Tour* Tuesday 1230pm and Sunday 430pm Tours will be an All In One 4 hour tour that encompasses our National Mall Tour tour AND Tidal Basin Tour. Tour begins at 10am Tuesdays and 2pm Sundays at 15th and Constitution NW and ends at Jefferson Memorial. Guests can attend either portion of the tour if they wish, but we bet it's so good you'll want to keep going! Guests should reserve for the 1230pm or 430pm tours online or contact us first to ensure exact meeting time and location if they wish to only attend the Tidal Basin portion of the tour

Guests should contact us FIRST to ensure exact meeting time and location if they wish to only attend the Tidal Basin portion of the tour
